OVERVIEW
Volunteer/Promoter Reports to: [The Code Records via website (link will be sent upon completion of the form below)]
Summary: The Code Records Promoter will perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in The Code Record's office. This will include online promotion, outdoor promotion, event promotion and other administrative promotions as assigned by The Code Records. This position helps to extend the resources in The Code Records to better assist and direct the needs of our artist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Spread the word about our artist and events through social media
• Get promotional referrals (refer people to join The Code's promotional team, $1.00 US dollar for every ONE person who joins AND get someone else to join.)
• Other duties specifically around coordination of special events, or as assigned events
Requirements
• Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public
• Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of The Code Record's volunteers, partners, and donors
• Computer skills are desired, but not necessary
Training & Supervision
• Attends general volunteer orientation
• Completes online orientation which includes training on the following items:
Promotion Tutorial
Filing System
Training and supervision conducted by: The Code Records Promotion Team
Evaluation
• All volunteers complete a 60 day evaluation (details in package that will be emailed)
Time Commitment
• During staff meetings (30 minutes), Tuesday or Thursday
• Once per week for 4 hours or Totaling 4 hours a week (details in package that will be emailed)
